One more Question before I pack it up! LOL
« on: January 02, 2021, 05:21:40 PM »
I have had yhis issue all season and can't figure it out......

I have 3 Pis, all different ( up to a Pi 4) running three parts of the yard.  I have 3 SanDevices E6804s proxied off of their respective Pi's in a different subnet from my home.

Here is the issue with all three:

When I proxy into the E6804's through their Pi's the bottom 4 or 5 lines are cut off!  So 1/2 of port 2 on, is missing.  I have attached a screenshot.

Port 3, Port 4, and the COMMAND button, the OUTPUT button to configure the E6804 output page, etc. are gone.

This is the exact same on all 3 units.  I can run a network cable out to one, change the IP to 192.168.1.206 and I can see the whole screen.  ALSO, at the top it will say "Warning: Buffer Overflow - maybe a clue?  I don't know what that is telling me, but I know one of you guys will figure it out.

This looks to be similar to:
https://github.com/FalconChristmas/fpp/issues/849

Specifically:
https://github.com/FalconChristmas/fpp/issues/849#issuecomment-718097567

"This is a problem with the e68x firmware that they know about. It's not returning a proper HTTP 1.x response (no HTTP headers at all) and thus the Apache reverse proxy has no idea what the response is or the size or anything and thus will only return part of the page. This was supposed to be fixed in the 5.x firmware this summer, but apparently has been delayed."

I can't remember how someone helped me through this, but I have three of the E682s and was having the same issue. A Zoom meeting fixed this for me, and it was pretty easy to do. Now I can sit at my PC and as long as my Pi is on and everything is connected, I can access any of my E682 devices or the two BBB devices (that are also running FPP).
