Pixlite 16 and Xlights
« on: December 21, 2014, 02:25:03 PM »
Was wondering if anyone could provide any help with my mega tree setup. I purchased the Pixlite 16 and 12 strip package from Holiday Coro.  I have each strip set up on a single output on the board.  I am only getting output on my strips on the first 7 and the first set of pixels on number 8.
I tried changing my starting universe and got less output on my pixels.
When I put the Pixlite in test mode all of my strips light up and cycle through red, green, blue and white.

Any thoughts on where I should start looking as to where my setup is wrong?

Thanks!

do NOT do wrapping in both Pixlite and xlights. Pick one or the other.

I don't think I have done that, since I am not sure where those settings are..

In xLights the "# of Strands per string" is the wrapping feature.  Like for a megatree if you specify 1 string of 168 pixels with 4 strands per string it will give you 4 columns of 42 pixels per column and xLights assumes an up/down/up/down layout.  So if you were to do that and turn on wrapping in the controller they would cancel each other out.
