InputPup with xSchedule
« on: February 21, 2021, 10:09:23 AM »
Switching to xLights this year and looking for some help with using my LOR inputPups with xSchedule.  I?ve found the area to add a LOR event but not sure about the configuration.  Does anyone know of a write-up or video that covers this?  I use my input pups to control a bank of 20 buttons that let visitors select any song in my show.

Someone sent me one a few years back and I had it working but I remember nothing about what I did.  I searched the xLights release Readme and found this so apparently I added code to make it work.

-- enh (gil)    Add LOR event to xSchedule which should work with the Input Pup board.
-- enh (gil)    Update LOR events to work with multiple cards on one port.

So my guess would be in xSchedule you would do Edit -> Events, Add, set dropdown to LOR, then enter Unit Id, Port #, speed, channel, and set it to the command you want it trigger.
