Residual effects in sequences
« on: April 27, 2021, 01:16:28 AM »
Hi,
I have a couple of effects that I can't make disappear.  Example, 4 singing faces turn On for maybe 15 seconds, with no command.  (I believe I had deleted an effect there previously.)  I've scanned all effects and groupings for anything happening at that time and found nothing.  I tried assigning the faces to a new controller in case there was an overlap, no improvement.  I even tried removing the faces, importing replacements with a slightly different name, and the effect still appeared.
Thoughts would be appreciated.

Couple things .. did you click the render button? The paint pallette icon.
Could there be effects on the node or strand level by mistake? Double click the model in the model list to expand out the sequence and show the strand and node levels to see if something is there.

If you right click on the row headings and select show all effects xlights will open up all the strands/nodes to show you anything that has effects on it.
