Visualizer Ignore Ports on Upload to Controller
« on: August 13, 2021, 06:28:01 PM »
I have created this complex matric that is not a complete rectangle.  Instead I cut the the two top ends at 40 degree angles to fit under my soffits in the house.  This made me create a number of virtual strings with adjusted start channels in order for everything to render properly.

I don't expect the visualizer to render this, but I would like to tell the visualizer to leave specific ports alone when I upload any changes. Is this possible?

It depends on which controller.

Also I suspect your approach may not be the best. A custom model would probably give you the best of both worlds. Jump into zoom and the guys will help you.

Possibly not the best way, but doesn't the matrix have certain behaviors that a custom model would not?

Only that it is slightly slower to create.
