I have been trying for two seasons to clear warnings under TEST Sequence showing LOTS of warnings about models in certain groups are also in unassigned ......  I have added an attachment of my issue.  It seems that as I have deleted groups and added new names of groups, the old ones still 'hang on' and show up as warnings.  It may not affect the operation, but I prefer to get it right.  Please Help.

WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mouth1' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mouth1' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mouth2' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mouth2' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mouth3' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mouth3' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mouth4' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mouth4' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mouth5' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mouth5' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Socket' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Socket' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mega Tree' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mega Tree' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mini Tree-1' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mini Tree-1' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.
WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mini Tree-2' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mini Tree-2' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.

Well each message is quite clear.  Lets take the first one.  Have you changed the preview selection drop-down to see all your models in the various previews?  Are you saying "All" doesn't exist?  According to this message it does exist and to get rid of the warning it either needs to be assigned to the same preview as the "Mouth1" model or change the "Mouth1" model preview assignment to Unassigned.

WARN: Model Group 'All' in preview 'Unassigned' contains model 'Mouth1' which is in preview 'Default'. This will cause the 'Mouth1' model to also appear in the 'Unassigned' preview.

Thanks so much for your response.  I don't doubt that the Warnings are correct, but over two seasons, I upgraded some models (like A/C lighted trees to pixel trees, changed to different stars, etc, and I don't know how to get into the 'unassigned' view to delete the changed groups.  The reason for the different names, like House vs Home and Everything vs All is because it wouldn't let me use the group again when I changed my models.  I LOVE xlights (used to be on another software) I just don't know how to remove the 'old' groups, so that I can re-use the names I want to keep and delete the otheres.  (Like HOME and HOUSE.)  Thanks again for your interest.....

There is a drop-down top-center of the layout screen where you can switch which preview is active.

WOW!!  Thanks, Gil!!  I didn't see it because it was more than half off the right side of my screen.  I guess I had a "newbie's layout mistake' goin' on. ;D

Thanks so much,
Wayne

Well, After using the View of Unassigned and Default....none of the models in any of my sequences show up in Unassigned.  I read some older posts that said to delete the fseq file and reopen the sequence and render and the Warnings will be cleared.  I opened on of the sequences, rendered and looked at test sequence and, unfortunately the are all still listed.  Im at a loss.  Old models AND one of of the three new singing bulb model show the warning about being in the default as well as the Unassigned.  Please help me.  Thank you

Update-It SEEMS that when I went through all of my sequences and deleted the fseq and then ran batch render, then I shut down again and restarted the Warnings were all gone!  Do you think that is what corrected the issue?

Thanks,
Wayne

The FSEQ file doesn't hold any information about models its just raw channel data so that advice was made up by someone who thought they saw correlation.  Rendering does nothing related to that error either.  At this point we can't determine anything because no files were ever provided and no videos to show what you did.  The warning is purely based on the model settings at the time check sequence is run.  Also we can't be sure you weren't seeing old warnings because the file log file just keeps going until its a certain size then it runs circular.

I concur!  I don't know what happened but they were gone, but appeared back the next time I looked.  Oh, well, I don't like all those warnings showing at all.  It bugs me, even though it doesn't affect the operation.
I'm thinking about deleting all my controllers and models, then building them back one at a time and use the Visualizer to realign, then see if that  cleared them out.  If I remove all my controllers and models and start fresh, will that work?

UPDATE!  Earlier in my post, I mentioned that I could only see HALF of my PREVIEW window, so I assumed that I only had one window call DEFAULT.  I knew thaI never made more than on view and that window was for people who needed different views for their show.

After you pointed out this preview window, I realized that I was not seeing the drop down arrow in order to see other views!!!  Still, it didn't click until last night that all of those conflicts were from the UNNASSIGNED group, which I ignored, BECAUSE I had never SET UP an "unassigned group!!  DUH!  I looked in there and the were all these models, so I deleted all and PRESTO, the warnings in CHECK SEQUENCE were all gone!!

Thank you @Gilrock for pointing the window to me.

I LOVE this program so much that I donated to its cause a couple days ago.

Thank you @Keithsw and your team for all the work you have done and ALL the videos to the new, old and mentally challenged (like me) folks out there!

Yep the Unassigned preview is created for you.  The multiple preview feature was one of my additions.
