Issues with polylines on whole house
« on: September 24, 2021, 11:28:40 PM »
I am currently working on doing my whole house outline. I thought all was well until I put a marquee and several segments have blank spots and different chase sizes. I cannot seem to figure out what I am missing on this one.  Working segments look the same as far as settings on the non working ones, I am using polylines for some of the interrupted verticals
I am attaching  a pkg to see if anyone has some input.

Couple things .. you likely want per model default instead of default.
Also you have overlaps that is messing things up esp on the garage roof.
Best to go thru each controller and set to autolayout, autosize and then use the visualizer and place ALL props on a controller - even if you dont know exactly where they will go.

Well it was mostly the per model setting. Havent sequenced anything since last year. Forgot that one.
Xlights was throwing some false errors on saying my arches overlapped, was incorrect. I keep meticulous spreadsheets with channel mapping #'s. My props do not change once they are built and working. So that error was incorrect.
I have found the controller page useless. Unless your uploading to controllers, it might be helpful. I bet I could delete the controllers from the page and it would still work, I keep them around just to see the ranges of addresses that are assigned to them.
Thank you for setting me on the right track, it is working now.
