Seperate effects between models
« on: November 04, 2021, 08:44:04 PM »
I'm sure that there is something very simple that I've missed here as I'm am very much a noob with Xlights but could someone please point out what I've done wrong.
I've got two models, a single poly line for my gutter and a set of 3 arches.

The issue is when I add an effect to either one of these in the sequencer it is applied to both models.
I hope this makes sense what I'm asking and please let me know if more information is needed, thank you for the help.
Controller is a F16V3

Finish off defining the controller then use the visualizer to put the models/props on the various ports. I think you have model overlap.

So on the controllers tab enter Falcon and F16v3 for Vendor and Model
Now click auto size, auto layouts, xlights full control.
Click the bottom button visualiser
Drag the props from the right to the left.

Check your sequence stuff again.

That was it, I clicked on the visualizer before and after ticking the auto size, layout and full control boxes and it didn't seem to change but selecting the correct vendor and model along with the tickboxes was what it needed!  Thank you so much for the help here, I was pulling my hair out looking at the addresses and channels.
I can't promise I won't be back for more questions but you have got me up and running enough to start putting some sequences together, cheers!
