Trim function
« on: November 15, 2021, 01:57:31 PM »
Hi,

Don't know if it really doesn't exist, but at least I cannot find it.
I would love a trim function where you can select part of the timeline and trim everything around it.

Why? I want to reuse parts of my sequence of last year, but I had a mix of 10 minutes and only want to use a few minutes.

Does not exist .. Sounds like a neat idea though.
A couple of tips might help - drop a timing track where you want to trim to and be sure and have snap to timing track set. Now you can push those effects back that timing mark. Not triming can have unwanted side effects and perhaps why this isnt practical.

Think of a single strand effect set to 1 cycle over 4 bars or 4 seconds say, now you make the effect half the size. The end result will be the same effect but at twice the speed :-(
