Zig Zag mega tree model

Decided to bump my mega trees up from 12 strings X 50 pixels to 16 X 50. How do I get the xlights model to do zig zag on the preview window? So for example string #2's channels will start at the top of the tree rather than the bottom.

I understand that you have 16 strings, and string 1 starts from the bottom, 2 from the top, 3 from the bottom, and 4 from the top...

in that case, make your tree model so that the strings are 2x the actual length and then configure the strings to have 2 strings.

so, the model is 8 strings of 100 with 2 strands.
