60 amp power supply smoking
« on: December 01, 2021, 09:23:45 AM »
One of my power supplies is smoking. Smells like that burnt wiring smell. Light were still working fine. It has two fans which have been making nosies since new. Haven?t taken it apart as of yet( been working). Any ideas and or what to look for? Thanks

I would be looking for a sale on a replacement.

Sorry, but I figure if you are that good of an electician that you want to fix a power supply, you should already know the answer.

I get it but it only a month old from china or where ever.
It not that easy. Where I live you can?t just grab one off a shelf and your local electronics store

You might post your needs and your location.  Never know who might be close buy and have a spare they could part with.  For example I don't have 60 amp PS, but have several 30 amp that I could part with as I have been replacing my older China PS with Meanwells.
