Xlights as a basic live show controller.
« on: December 02, 2021, 02:56:56 PM »
Hello--
I have some moving heads and pixels setup in Xlights. I'm wondering if I can create basic scenes versus a timed light show?
For example, upon a keystroke (or another action) "moving head A" moves from Actor 1 to Actor 2.

This is definitely something you can do but it is pretty basic. It's still time-based, however, it may work for you. It's a feature called Jukebox. You can open Jukebox you click View>Windows>Jukebox.

Each button you set up with a specific effect and you can easily switch between them.

Here's a short video explaining how to use it and set it up: https://videos.xlights.org/jukebox-feature_09c397b15.html
