this sequence crashes both 39 and 40

This purchased PPD sequence crashes in both 39 and 40 with an unhandled exception report.  I have successfully completed a bunch of songs in both 39 and 40.  Not sure why xlights does not like this one.

Jim,
I just downloaded your zip file and extracted it. I opened the sequence in version 40 and changed it to a animation sequence, rendered it and it played just fine. I then added my White Christmas mp3 to it and it played fine again. Could there possibly be something with your audio file that xlights doesn't like? That's the only thing I can think of at this point. But rest assured I am no expert at this.

I can refresh the audio file, but I have been using it since early Dec.  This problem started when I when back in to add some missing props and rerender after discovering some minor channel overlap.  I had even started with a fresh import and telling the import to erase all existing effects.

I have also imported and added another 8 songs since I had the issue with the White Christmas sequence so does not seem to be a generic xlights issue.
