xLights 2024-04 Polylines Set to Single Color Issues

Hi there, not sure if that has already been reported (I looked but didn't find a post), but I noticed that if a Polyline model String Type is set to Single Color, an Effect place directly on the model will not show on the visualizer, nor does it appear to output to any lights (at least based on sACNView).
The Polyline WILL work, however, if it is included in a group and the Effect is applied to the group.

I tried changing the String Type to Single Color Intensity, with the same results. However, I may have discovered another bug by doing that - The color square displayed on the sequence view next to the model is always black, no matter what color it is set at in the Layout tab or what color is used on the Effect in the Sequence tab.

Attached is a basic config that duplicates the issue I saw in my show files.

The two string types you selected react differently.

Single Color
Single Color String of Lights, Ex: LED/Incandescent Strings. String will responds to that color in the Sequencer.

Single Color Intensity
Single Stand String of Lights, Ex: LED/Incandescent Strings. String will responds to ANY color in the Sequencer.

So the square for the intensity is just saying "any color".
   
I did notice the same thing with putting the on effect on the polyline object versus opening the model and putting it on the strand or putting it on a group. It is kind of strange.

Better to log this on GitHub.  I'm a good person to check into this but I won't remember to come back to the forum for it.

I also added a separate feature request about how nested groups are displayed in the sequencer.
