Mac M3 Max 2024.10 never ending beach ball on model download or import

Has anyone else seen this?  I upgraded macs and my old mac has a previous version that does not do this.  When upgraded to 2024.10 seems this takes forever....  (about 10-15 minutes)

Well there are bugs that could be in that version depending on what is in your layout/sequence.  Like apparently some people like to create a group that only has one model which my red center cross update caused a divide by zero error because the group height calculated as zero.

This literally started with the update.  It worked completely fine with the previous version as indicated.

Beach ball happens only when loading the files or download location, not when actually placing the model.

OK, so the spinning wheel never stops till I force close the app.  Occasionally, the spinning wheel will die in a sigabrt, but I am not seeing a crash file

Opening a fresh show folder with my 3d .obj file and .mtl file, with my xml files, same thing.

The latest past version I can get is 2024.02.1

When I run this version I have no issues.
