how to do video
« on: January 07, 2015, 06:16:51 PM »
I think I saw this in a tutorial somewhere but I cant for the life of me find instructions on How to do video.  I did find a thread about using ffmpeg in DOS but when I followed those instructions, it didn't recognise them.  I obviously missed some other steps somewhere.  Can someone be so kind as to let me know where I can find instructions.

Yes thank you for the link.  I have found the relevant section of the video and have followed the instructions but my PC doesn't recognise the ffmpeg command (see the attached screenshot).  Is this an add on that I have to turn on in my system somewhere?

Ffmpeg is installed when u install xlights on your widow machine. Look in your program(86) /xlights directory

The xLights path needs to be in your Path Environment Variable or fully path the command when you run it.  I've got C:\Program Files (x86)\xLights in my path.
