Playback when clicking on effect

Hey All,

How do I stop XL from starting to play when I click on an effect that's already present?  I was dragging an effect to position it better but several times when I clicked on it playback started and played just for the length of the effect.  Very annoying.

I thought the effect played on double click. It does in 2024-11 anyway. Are you using a mouse pad or mouse? Maybe you are accidentally creating a double click?

Interesting you mention double click.  I've been having issues lately with my mouse.  Sometimes I have trouble when I click and drag and sometime I have to do an 'extended' click to open things.  So that might translate into a double click I suppose.

I switched the mouse out and it's still doing it.  Not sure what's going on.  Both 'mice' are Logitech cordless.  Wonder if it's a Logitech software issue.....I'll have to play around more.
