Neither. Use the visualizer from the controller setup to put models on the right ports.
Before the visualizer, we used to chain from prop to prop to put them "in order". This is auto maintained if you use the visualizer.
Just go ahead and get your models created with the right values for the lights. Then, pop back to the controller tab and use the visualizer.
