FPP Display Test
« on: January 23, 2015, 08:07:22 AM »
I have been working on repairing some of my display elements and discovered the Display Test tab in the FPP software.  It has been a big help in finding nonworking pixels ext.  However I noticed that the sliders in the Test All Channels section are giving me the wrong colors Red is Blue,  Green Is Red and Blue is Green.  There is also quite a delay between the time I slide the bar and the lights change color.  Anyone else notice this is there something wrong in my setup?  When I play a sequence it work normally.

I'm sure your setup is fine.  I've seen this also.  The FPP test tab doesn't know anything about your channel order.  I bet if you inspect your controller setup screens you will find where you are mapping the colors.  Like in my J1SYS controller my string configs show RBG because for those pixels to look right I need the green and blue data to swap.  Well the FPP doesn't know I've done that so when I command Blue I see Green.

I plan on changing the wording on the test screen before FPP v2.0, that is if that screen still exists by then, we might have something better.  :)

Thanks,  Go to know that I did not have something setup incorrectly.
