Do You Need Help? Post it here / Singing tree won't work with import?

I am trying to import Logan's Trolls sequence and cannot get the tree to import correctly. I have loaded his sequence and settings and saved. Started a new sequence, imported effects and mapped to my display. I cannot get the tree to play correctly. Is there something special that I need to do?

Oh I also imported his timing track and built faces for my tree.

Sorry to keep rehashing this, but I am tired of having to go down all of my models and change channels because I have added something or found a mistake.  I am adding several models this year and am trying to make my life easier.

How do I keep my outputs of the controllers the same using universe start channel. For example in absolute if my model has say 10 stings @ 100 nodes each and keeping it simple a start channel of 1. String 1 would be Port 1 and channels 1-300, string 2 port 2 channels 301-600 and so on. How does that look in universe? Forgive my ignorance I am sure that this is simple , but I'm not catching on!

What about rewiring. It appears to me that I will need to change the output ports and the wiring to my nodes if I go with Universe start channel. Is that correct?

I am attempting to change to Unviverse Start Channel Method. In the past I reserved the first 512 channels for all of my A/C (DMX) then started my RGB @ 513. How do you address the DMX in Universe method? For example in my Absolute numbering my Megatree started on Channel 513. In Universe method it show it to be Universe 2 channel 513. Should I change that to #2:1? One more question is...Do I need to rewire all of my controllers when I am done?  Any help would be appreciated!

No Keith, I am not. I am completely network illeterate though. I am not sure if you have read my posts, but I took last year off and have not really even looked at the forums for amost 2 years now, so I am WAY behind. Forgive me please. In the past, let say before the Falcon V2 even came around, in order for you to "Test" your lights, you would put the FPP in Bridge mode so that Xlights could send the data to your controllers through the FPP. I could watch the univeses in bridge mode and watch the data count go up as the lights ran. In stand alone the FPP was in full control using the sequence data on your usb thumb drive.

I know I am way over complicating this and just missing (forgetting) something that I need. I seem to be really struggling with everything right now, so I applogize totally for my ignorance. I am not new at this. As a matter of fact I have what I consider to be a large display. Maybe early onset of alzheimer's. 

It may be the way that I have my network set up at home.....I am just lost at this point.

In the past if you wanted xlights to output through the FPP it had to be in Bridge mode unless you were playing your show. I used to be able to look at it in bridge mode under the status page and see that the outputs were infact transfering data. Has that changed?

BTW I have no lights attached to my FPP it is strictly for my shows.

My setup is going to be 3 F16v2s and 2 F16s with an FPP. My FPP ip is 192.168.0.145 and F16v2s are 196.168.0.146,147,148 respectively. My set up in xLights has all of my outputs to the V2s. Do I need to put the Pi in as an output? I cannot get any output from my F16v1s and the FPP shows no data out (While in Bridge mode) on any of the outputs when outputting lights through Xlights. All of the V2s will control lights. My Connections are all Cat5 directly from my router no daisy chain...... Sorry for all of the stupid questions that I should already know!

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Unexpected behavior from Bars Effect (solved)

I have an irregular size "matrix" on my roof. By irregular I mean that it is not square as it follows my roof line. It is a grid that I layout on my roof every year. I have attached my custom model. It is 32 strings each attached to a different output on my F16v2 (1.11 b006 firmware) with an expansion board. I am running X-Lights v2017.33.

When in test mode in X-lights my left 16 strands cycle at a different color then my right strands. All are set to forward and RGB ws2811 in my Falcon. I know that before if the channel count was off and not divisible by 3 that you would get such a reaction so I did not worry about it. Move forward to I make a sequence for the entire grid to cycle WRGB and the left 16 strings (On main board) are correct the right 16 (On expansion board) colors are still off. So I make a Bars effect To go from bottom up and the "Bar" follows the roofline..... not a straight bar that it does show in the sequencer. Clear as mud??? Left to right bars appear to be ok. So when the bars are applied to the house they follow the V line on my strings not a straight bar. I know I am probably missing something very simple but I have been out of it for so long I am really scratching my head.
