General hardware / Pixel Jig for PVC

A while back I saw a video or instruction on how to drill holes in pvc to push in pixels and the jig to keep them aligned and evenly spaced.  Does anyone have info on where I can find this?

Xlights Setup / Will this setup work?

Is it possible to have the E1.31 from the computer to a hub, output to a couple of Advatek controllers and also an output to another hub and then to a couple of additional controllers hooked into the second hub as shown in the attached picture?  Don't want to have to run multiple Cat 6 lines to the other side of the yard if 1 line would do and then split again from another hub.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Getting set for 2019 already.

The Water Cooler / Number of Pixels at 50%

My brain will not work.  Does anyone know if I would be able to run 70 5v pixels at 50% without power injection and still maintain white at the end of the string.

LOR / xLights converted to LOR looks like Ca-Ca

New to xLights, but have learned enough to be dangerous.  When I take a downloaded sequence and map it to my  personal display model, the models and sequencing looks good.  IE: mapped mini trees that are 360 with 16 strands 10 pixels to my mini trees that are 1 strand 120 pixels on a 360 tree with 16 wrap arounds.  When I convert to LOR .lms file, it loses alot of definition and looks muddy.  Is there something I might be doing wrong, or is that just the nature of the beast?

Thank you Keith...I was going crazy trying to figure out what I did wrong.  I am just starting with xLights.  My display is about 30% pixels and 70% LED.  I am using LOR but as the additions and changeovers occur, I want to move to xLights.
Am I able to still use my LOR controllers in xLights?  Do they stay using the USB dongle or do I change them to DMX, and if so..how?
This newbie appreciates everyone's help on this forum!

Newbie here. When I place an effect (ie Butterfly) on my model, the first pixel is red, and the second pixel is the same as the third pixel, then the effect acts normal on the rest of the pixels. I have 8 mini trees and this happens to all of them. How would I correct this?

I am setting up my layout in xLights.  i have a CMB16 dumb pixel unit.  I have tried both single strand and custom models to get the string to show the 3 channels.  Tried both 3 RGB and RGB with one node.  Only the  first channel will show (Strand 1 Node 1).  The CMB is set up as a LOR unit.  Does it need to be set as DMX instead for the unit to model the RGB channels.  The layout shows the model uses 3 channels but only shows Node 1 and is white.  when the sequence is played, the model shows white but nothing else.  Tried using Wash but no go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Gil.  One more question if that is okay.  Do you know...If I convert the sequence from LOR to xLights, which would be just data, then add effects to models in xLights, can I then re convert the sequence back to LOR and will all of the sequence (old LOR data and new xLights effects) be operational in LOR.
or
Would it be better to make a new sequence in xLights of the same song that I use in LOR, sequence the models that I want, then convert those to xLights, and then copy and paste those to the original LOR sequence to get the actions and effects for the whole LOR sequence.
Confusing huh?  Just spitballing here.

Thank you Gil.  I used the convert and selected a song, then LOR data.  I guess that is why everything is data.  How would I import so that I would be able to copy and paste effects that came from LOR.
I see what you mean by the right click method to convert to effect, line by line.
I really do appreciate all of the help you and others are given me.
I have added pixel arches to my sequences this year after my LOR CCPixel unit died last year.  Also I have pixel mini trees (119 pixels single strand wrapped) and the Walmart tiny trees (8 wrap up, 5 pixel star, 8 wrap down) that I have converted to smart pixels that I will be trying to sequence.
WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO???

So, I think I have found a reason why my Copy/Paste is not working.  The sequence I am trying to copy from was one that I converted from LOR.  None of the effects on models that were in the original LOR sequence are able to be copied or pasted.  If I add an effect to the to this sequence through xlights, I am able to copy and paste those effects to the new sequence.  Am I on the right track with this?  Thank you again for your help.

Didn't work.  My procedure...1st sequence:  Highlight Mini Tree group, using beats timing, clicked on last cell of group, moved to 1sr cell, pressed shift and highlighted whole row.  Pressed Ctrl-c.  Went to 2nd sequence.  selected 1st cell in Mini Tree group, pressed Ctrl-v.  No copy.  Tried it again and then rendered, still no copy.  Both sequences made sure the Path Tree group is highlighted before selecting cells.  using the same sequence in both open copies of xlights 2018-22.  1st sequence has effects, 2nd set up as new sequence for same song and tried from there.  Still no copy.  Thanks for your help.

I am trying to copy effects from one sequence to another sequence.  (IE:  Mini trees effects to 2nd sequence). Have tried the Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v.  2nd sequence dose not get the copy.  I do not quite understand the "dummy" method.  I am a newbie just trying to learn xLights.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
