xx Interest Thread: Potential Two Day, Intense xLights Seminar

I will put money down tomorrow .  March 19,20 at the palace station in las vegas. Classroom can fit 40 people. Cost $200 for two days if 20 people, $190 if 30 people , $180 if 40. Continental breakfast included both days. I am thinking of streaming the course and recording it. To attend  live via the web and to receive 16 hours dvd covering the two days will be $40.

People; i will setup a pay system, but first let me ask about the date.
I have march 19,20 reserved with the Palace station. The airfare is highest in Vegas on two weeks, one in spring (The week i picked) and once in October. This week I picked has the highest airfare.
Round trip for myself was $292 per person on Southwest. So $600 for my wife and myself.
One other weekend that is open is one month later, April 16,17. $142 round trip on Southwest. So <$300 for my wife and myself.

I looked and it appears all airfares from around the country are cheaper on april 16 as compared to mar 18th.

Further, the room rates are a little cheaper in April.
Hotels.com shows Palace Station: Mar 19 $112/night, Apr 17 $90/night.

So Mar 19 or April 17?

April looks good.

Unbeknownst to me, I got married during "Spring Break"   

When is spring break in the US?  It depends, but it's a 6 week period of high air-fares, high hotel occupancy rates, etc from Late Feb to Mid April.

in our school district it is mid-march, the week of march 13th.
