I couldn't figure out how to zoom the picture inside that word document.  Is there a tutorial video somewhere? :)

Are you trying to import data that had a finer resolution in LOR than the sequence you created in xLights?  If you have 10ms divisions in LOR then it's not going to work importing into 50ms divisions in xLights.

I will try this another way. I can copy my sequence  when I create a new sequence, and use the import tab and apply the map of the channels I made from my LOR layout.  This would be fine but I am getting some random ON channels in the transfer. I can't edit the newly created sequence ( I am guessing because its a data layer ?) and not a converted sequence.   When NC converts a LOR sequence how does it see the channel order. In LOR the first network is 5 16 channel A/C controllers. (1-16  for the 5 controllers). The second network is 30 DMX channels for 10 dumb 3 channel trees. Is it order of the models or by number? . when ever I attempt a conversion I am just getting random flashing on my models that are numbered by channel.  Or should my models be numbered by the order they appear in the LOR secquencer or just be in the same order and the channel number doesn't matter?

I really don't know how the LOR channels get assigned but I can tell you how to figure it out yourself.  Create a LOR sequence that ONLY has data on one channel at the beginning of a model and then see where the heck that shows up in xlights.  I already suggested the big matrix idea.  I've given you enough info that you could have figured this all out with a little troubleshooting instead of waiting till we have time to figure out your channel order for you.

Jim if you are using Win 7 you can take screen shots by clicking start, then put snipping tool in the search box.  Drag your mouse around the area you want to capture and you will capture what is in the window.  You can not alter the box so get it right when you do the drag or just keep starting over without saving by clicking the new button.

If I get a chance over the weekend I'm going to see if there's a way we could print out more information during the LOR conversion process that would show you how everything ends up being mapped.  That should help people out since I've seen a lot of struggle in this area.

sorry to be so thick about this. I have been reading and attempting to get this done myself and have not been successful with a clean conversion.

Ok so I did a 16 channel test. I cut and pasted a 16 channel track. created a new sequence and it appeared to want to display the first 16 channels not the model I have selected.

Hopefully this will help...next version I added a checkbox on the Convert tab so you can import the LMS file and see how the LOR channel names map to the xLights channel numbers.

Thank you. I have had some measure of success with the Import Effects. I went back into LOR and rearranged my sequences # 1-108 in one DMX universe and saved the channel config. I then went through my MC models re-numbered them 1-108. I then followed the wiki for importing effects. I have two sequences migrated to NC. I still cant get conversion to work right, When I tried with my newly configured LOR sequence NC crashed. here is the crash file attached.
