Hi .
I am looking at building a P10 matrix this year but i have no idea on how these work?
Do i just create it as a normal model? How do they connect to the computer?
Thanks

You'll need...
Beaglebone Black or Green running FPP
Octoscroller cape
P10 panels (up to 64 per Beaglebone)
Power supply
Check out the Falcon forum for a lot more information too.

Within xLights you will create a matrix model like you would any other model and sequence as normal. Make sure to set up the proper number of channels within the set up tab.

Can I get more info about this? How are P10 panels configured on the setup tab? How are models made with these panels?

A good write up on how to configure a p10 matrix can be found at the link below. The only thing I would add is its possible to put the BBB in bridge mode so you can just drop effects onto your sequence in Xlights to preview them on the p10 matrix without having to upload the .fseq file to the BBB.
