Some models out of sync with xlights
« on: December 03, 2017, 06:37:55 PM »
Hi, hope advice is available. ( Apologies if this has been resolved previously )
Some of my models do not light up as displayed in the xlights sequencer window.
As an example
6 mini trees should light up at once as shown in xlights house preview displaying the models,
but instead, 3 mini trees and 3 other models light up.
I have checked channel mapping and it seems ok. I have also done a Check Sequence.
the only problems found were " fill sequence without a position value curve " which i suspect is not the problem here.
have recently updated to latest version of xlights. ( including backups )
Note : this does not happen over the whole length of the sequence. models do perform as per the sequence in some sections of the sequence.
Every time i reopen the sequence, the model faults react in the same way.

Try rendering all and playing. That is the most accurate representation of what should be happening. The symptoms you describe are a little vague. It's possible a group is overriding the effect but without seeing your sequence it's hard to say.

Reading your post again I think you have configuration issues between XLights and your controllers. This has been written about many times and I am not going to reproduce it here. Probably your fastest answer is to drop into zoom and ask someone to help you. Most evenings at the moment there is someone in there willing to help. Just ask.

If you want to troubleshoot is here we are going to need images of controller and XLights configurations.
