Watched the first season and determined it was not my sort of show, but i do like the sequence, so I bought it, thanks Ron. Slowly edging closer to the magic 500th purchase, so good luck everyone there too.

I would prefer patreon, but do just send $ via Paypal each month. I am not sure if I'd agree with the delayed software for the ones who don't pay though, especially as 2 weeks can often be 2 versions or more

If you were a paid participant you should have received a direct email message yesterday.

I was a paid participant. I did get my sequence last night, but no link to the videos yet. Did you get a link to the videos? I thought he was still working on recovering before posting.

Same here. I have my sequence, but last I heard was an email a few days ago saying that about 1/3 of the videos had to be re-recorded. I also read (Was it in that email?) that Sean was considering releasing the videos that were OK  soon, we could start downloading them.

Thanks Gil, it just seems to be that popup box, but thats ok and it's not critical, just annoying as hell if you dont know. If I was to swap screens so the overview was undocked on my second screen it works but since my second screen is 27 inch and the laptop just 15 inch, the programming gets done on the larger monitor leaving the laptop monitor for the overview only.

I tried moving the popup for the effects preset and it sometimes remembers the location, and other times it just puts it back be the overview again, but I have not worked out why or if it remembers it after restart etc

Well done. I send a little to both each month as well, and I challenge more to do the same - just a few $ a month to each might not sound like much, but when 100 or more people do it, it adds up pretty quickly!

The following video shows a small bug in the Mac version in 2017.14 (Sorry I said .15 in the video) with a window not popping in front of another undocked window. In this case I found it by having the house preview undocked on one monitor (Main Macbook Pro monitor) and the rest of xLights on another monitor, but it does the same on the 1 screen as shown.

When I tried to add an Effects Preset, the Preset window pops up behind the house preview, not infront as it should, and does on the windows version, so i appears to be a Mac only issue. Running 64 bit on both PC's as well.

Surely you can find a friend with internet and you can download the files to a USB flash drive or portable hard drive.  These will be files, not streaming videos so that they go only to folks who paid and have the access info.

Alas no, but I might be able to find a cafe with internet and try to get a few a day, but we have very poor speed ADSL here so many businesses dont have free WiFi, and even places like McDonald's have stupid 5 or 10 meg limits here per session, and that wont get me even a single video. My mobile phone data wont even go close to getting the video's so while it's ok for email and Facebook or some forum use like this, not a hope to get the videos.

I paid for the stream on the 12th of May, but due to no email being sent out (There was a lot of people who never received them), I never got the channel numbers or password until late on the Saturday. I got nothing until the last session on Sunday before someone in one of the chats flicked me the new room numbers.

I understand there were issues, and Sean lost his HDD, but it would be nice to have got the email before the webinar, and while we had an email on Wednesday, I cant see Sean emailing out the links to the sequences in the next 24 hours, as I know of maybe 20 people who as of earlier today, said they have not got them. I took holidays to go away, and knowing the webinar was on I bought internet access at the resort we were staying at to watch or get the files. I then took off 2 weeks to be able to sit and watch each video and do a proper job of learning xLights, so now I'll just sequence instead, and watch the video's when I get a chance after they are released and I manage to get a copy.

Doesn't it do that if you don't have those channels available in your setup?

Nope, the channel allocation was done here prior to this, so that's not the cause. If you don't have whole house window open it wont crash, and that window can be docked or separate - if its open it crashes 100% of the time.

This bug was reported to Keith a few days ago, and he could not fix it, so flicked it off to someone else. The bug works on PC and Mac when you change the start channel to the #universe:chan or >item:chan and you then click to sequencer tab, but ONLY when the whole house window is open.

It's an old bug as it happened to me late last year too, while changing a few items from channel number starts to #universe:chan amd >item:chan setups, b ut I never worked out the actual cause until about 2 weeks ago while away sequencing

2 weeks?  Darn I don't have internet at home due to technical issues  so was hoping they would be here sooner. Looks like I'll miss out on getting them then
