Hi,

Have been through all of that quite recently.

Do one step at a time.

Post your questions here and I can respond quite quickly (I struggle to find stuff in fb)- am sure others will respond as well.

Is your first qn - how do you get your sequences to the PI ?

If so , use the file manager , browse to your xl show directory and upload the Yoursequence.fseq and the mp3 . (the xml is not required)

Then on the content tab , create a playlist and add the fseq (and the mp3) as the first item,

(Optionally )Test using the Display testing tab , that the fseq runs ,

Then test running the playlist from the status page.

Add another fseq/mp3 to the playlist etc

Note: Connect your PC/laptop to the Ethernet port of the PI via a switch/router (I did not try without that) if possible to upload your sequences as it would be faster.
Thanks will try all that this weekend. I should have a bit of time.
Terry
Well weekend was filled with honey do's. Getting ready for a vacation in the next few weeks. I did not get to play with the PI but did get a chance to get projector set up and test a video on the PC to check the masking. Perfect.  Plan to get PI tested  this week I hope. Pretty full schedule next 2 weeks with Dr. appointments and a biopsy.

Gerry,
Thanks for the kind thoughts. Hoping things are ok.
Probably wont take it. My lap top is an old XP laptop. We will have a week that is pretty filed up so won't have much time for sequencing etc. I couldn't access my router anyway but could most likely access the wifi there. Just won't have a lot of time.
