I have looked and looked and have not found what I thought I had seen somewhere on manual timing marks. What I want to do is use Audacity to "tap" manual timing marks into a song but I could not find anything anywhere that said how to do this (or maybe this is not possible in audacity the way I want to do it...). This part of the song is way too fast to "tap in" timing marks using the "xl tap" program, so, I was thinking maybe I can slow the song down to 1/2 speed (while maintaining pitch) in audacity, save that as a specific "slow" file, tap it using the xl tap program, pull that file back into audacity (but not sure how to pull in the xl tap file as a label file??), reset the file (with taps as a label file) back to 100% speed, then export that 100% speed label file into xlights. Is there a better way to do this??? This just seems really clunky, but I sure couldn't find anything on this last night.... And I looked a LONG time!
THANKS
